Senior Health Information Systems Officer

The Senior Health Information Systems Officer will lead the design, implementation, and management of health information systems (HIS) and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities under the STRIDES Morocco Activity. The position will develop and oversee the project MEL framework, Performance Monitoring Plan, indicator tracking systems, and data quality assurance processes, ensuring that data are accurately collected, integrated, analyzed, visualized, and reported against agreed targets. The Officer will strengthen multisectoral health data systems and the accessibility, interoperability, and use of human and animal health surveillance information for timely disease prevention and outbreak response. Working closely with the project team, government counterparts, partners, PATH, FHI 360 headquarters, and the donor, the Officer will synthesize evidence for adaptive management, lead performance reporting, support workplan development, and build the capacity of staff and in-country partners in HIS and MEL approaches. The Senior Health Information Systems Officer is expected to demonstrate advanced knowledge in health information systems and public health including disease surveillance, advanced proficiency in data management, MEL, data quality, interoperability, analysis, visualization, and the translation of evidence into action.
