Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Plastic components

What To Expect • Missions - attached to Mechanical Department Lead Engineer, you will carry out the following principal missions: • Responsible for component or system design; • Responsible of CAD development, Using CATPart parameterization for both 3D modeling and 2D drafting; • Perform design studies and identify the best design solutions respecting technical specifications based on client expectations and regulations; • Participate in feasibility studies • Contribute to the geometrical conformity • Responsible to deliver technical reports with the design progress; What You Bring Along • 5 years experience related to product CAD design development for automotive components: interior and exterior trims or lighting components • Skilled in CATIA V5/V6 in 3D and 2D Part Design, Generative Shape Design is a must • Capacity to coordinate a team of CAD designer • Your technical expertise and your leadership skills will be appreciated; • Good communication, teamwork skills, open to learn and evolve. • Good English level is mandatory; • German would be a plus With more than 55 facilities in Europe, the Bertrandt Group has been providing development solutions for the international automotive and aircraft industry since 1973.
