IT Team Lead – Industrial Manufacturing

The Opportunity
CLM Search is supporting an international manufacturing group in the recruitment of an experienced IT Team Lead to strengthen its local operations in Morocco.
The IT Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security and performance of the site's IT environment while leading local IT activities and acting as the key interface between plant operations, business functions and Group IT.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a strong combination of IT infrastructure expertise, user support, systems administration, cybersecurity awareness and team coordination within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate day-to-day IT activities and provide guidance to the local IT team.
• Ensure the availability, reliability and performance of the site's IT infrastructure, systems and applications.
• Manage and maintain servers, networks, workstations, communication systems and IT equipment.
• Oversee IT support activities and ensure effective resolution of incidents and user requests.
• Act as the primary IT contact for local management and coordinate with regional and Group IT teams.
• Support the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of business applications and ERP-related systems.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, hardware and software deployment in line with corporate IT policies.
• Ensure compliance with Group standards regarding IT security, cybersecurity, data protection, backup and disaster recovery.
• Monitor network and system performance and proactively identify potential risks or disruptions.
• Coordinate IT infrastructure installations, upgrades, migrations and new technology deployments.
• Manage relationships with external IT suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering IT assets, systems, procedures, licenses and configurations.
• Support production and operational teams with IT-related systems and ensure minimum disruption to manufacturing activities.
• Participate in local and international IT projects, including system rollouts, infrastructure improvements and digitalization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, service quality, system reliability and cost efficiency.
• Provide regular reporting on IT performance, incidents, risks and ongoing projects.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration and technical support.
• Previous experience coordinating or leading an IT team is highly desirable.
• Experience within an industrial, manufacturing or automotive environment would be a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, servers and IT infrastructure.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, access management, backup and business continuity.
• Exposure to ERP systems and manufacturing-related IT environments is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively to business-critical IT incidents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working within an international and multicultural organization.
• Professional working proficiency in English and French.
