Role Description
The Import Export Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Settat, responsible for managing the end-to-end process of international shipments. The role includes coordinating import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations, and liaising with freight forwarders, customs agents, suppliers, and customers. Daily tasks involve tracking shipments, resolving clearance issues, preparing and reviewing commercial invoices and packing lists, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The specialist will monitor delivery timelines, optimize logistics costs, and support internal teams with updates on shipment status and regulatory changes. Collaboration with finance and operations to ensure accurate duties, taxes, and transportation charges is also a key part of the role.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of import and export procedures, including Import, Export, and Import Export operations.

Experience with customs processes and documentation, including Customs Brokerage and related regulatory requirements.

Understanding of International Trade principles, trade terms (Incoterms), and global logistics practices.
•
Ability to manage documentation, data entry, and record-keeping with high attention to detail and accuracy.
•
Effective communication skills for working with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
•
Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems.
•
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines.
•
Relevant education in logistics, international trade, business, or a related field; professional certifications in trade or customs are an advantage.
•
Previous experience in import/export or logistics roles, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
•
Capacity to work on-site in Settat and collaborate effectively in a diverse, inclusive workplace.
