Data Engineer (H/F)

Based in our Bouskoura entity, you'll work directly on behalf of our German parent company — combining local presence with international scope , at the heart of our Group's digital transformation. 🎯 The Mission As our next Data Engineer based in Bouskoura , you will play a central role in building and scaling our global Data Lake infrastructure . You'll work under local hierarchical management at FRAENKISCHE INDUSTRIAL PIPES MAROC , while functionally reporting to FRAENKISCHE INDUSTRIAL PIPES in Germany. Your mission: consolidate our data landscape, ensure data quality across sites, and empower business teams with reliable, accessible data. 💼 What You'll Do Data Lake Infrastructure • Expand and maintain the data lake infrastructure , including installing new components and ensuring smooth operations • Optimize and adapt the data lake to new technologies and evolving business requirements • Analyze and resolve technical issues, and continuously optimize systems to prevent errors Data Integration & Consolidation • Consolidate isolated data sources into a central platform to improve cross-site data availability • Integrate new data sources into the data lake using modern ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools • Support the maintenance and management of various databases and storage locations Data Governance & Collaboration • Build and manage a global data catalog to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility • Collaborate closely with business departments to analyze and implement data requirements • Contribute to a strong documentation culture across the Group ✅ What We're Looking For • Completed Bachelor's degree in (Business) Informatics / Computer Science or a comparable field • Knowledge of methods and process models in software development is desirable • Strong analytical mindset with great attention to detail • High level of solution-oriented problem solving • Very good English skills , spoken and written (working language with German HQ) • French & Arabic are strong assets; German is a plus Soft skills we value: • Team spirit and reliability • High quality awareness and strong documentation discipline • Carefulness / accuracy and flexibility • Ability to work independently • Initiative and sense of responsibility / ownership • Analytical thinking 🛠️ Tech Stack • Databases: SQL, MSSQL Studio • Data ingestion: Azure SQL DB, SQL DB, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage (preferred sources) • Data processing / ETL: Azure Data Factory (preferred), Snowflake, Apache Airflow, AWS Glue • Database management: maintenance and administration of various databases and storage locations • IDE: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code • Source code management: Git • Cloud & Platforms: Azure Cloud, Databricks • Nice to have: Python, SSIS, Azure Key Vault, Azure Deployment Pipelines for Azure Data Factory, Power BI 🌟 Why Join FRAENKISCHE • 🌍 A strategic tech role in Bouskoura with direct exposure to our German parent company and international teams • 🏭 Join a global industrial leader driving digital transformation across sites • 🤝Cross-functional collaboration with international IT, data, and business teams • 📈 Real ownership of a global data platform — impact, autonomy, and career growth • 🚀 A long-term career opportunity within an international, family-owned Group 📩 How to Apply Please send your CV directly to: ✉️ mohammed.nafaa@fraenkische-ip.com
