Role Description The Reservations Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Marrakesh. This position supports the reservations team by handling booking inquiries, processing individual and group reservations, and updating guest information in the system. The intern assists in responding to emails and phone calls, confirming details with guests and partners, and coordinating with front office and sales teams to ensure accurate room availability and rates. Day-to-day tasks also include preparing reservation reports, helping resolve guest issues before arrival, and contributing to a smooth booking experience that reflects Locanda International’s commitment to hospitality and community.
Qualifications
• Reservations skills, including handling bookings, managing room inventory, and using reservation or PMS software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Customer service skills focused on creating positive guest experiences, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Basic sales skills to upsell rooms, packages, and services in alignment with hotel offerings.
• Willingness to participate in training and continuously develop hospitality and technical skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in commonly used office software; experience with hotel systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Arabic, or other languages is a plus.
• Interest in hospitality, culture, and community-driven experiences; prior internship or hotel experience is beneficial but not required.
