The sectors hiring the most
Commerce and distribution leads with 3,127 jobs, or 14.9% of the total. Hospitality, catering and tourism follow with 2,266 jobs (10.8%). Transport and logistics totals 1,683 jobs (8.0%). IT and digital services (1,670 jobs, 7.9%) and banking, insurance and finance (1,665 jobs, 7.9%) show similar volumes. Other industries account for 1,502 jobs, or 7.1%.
In commerce and distribution, the sales and business development job family accounts for 45.1% of jobs, ahead of logistics, purchasing and transport (30.2%) and accounting, finance and management (4.2%).
The most sought-after job families
By job family, sales and business development account for 14.5% of jobs, logistics, purchasing and transport 14.3%, IT and development 9.6%, production, quality and maintenance 9.5%, accounting, finance and management 8.5%, hospitality and food service 7.7%, and customer relations and telesales 6.2%.
The jobs reveal strong demand for field and customer-facing roles: delivery assistant (316 jobs in commerce and distribution), portfolio officer (220 jobs in banking, insurance and finance), contact centre advisor (196 jobs), merchandiser (183 jobs), warehouse handler (159 jobs) and forklift operator (118 jobs).
Cities
Casablanca concentrates 9,143 jobs, or 43.4% of the total. Rabat follows with 2,462 jobs (11.7%), Marrakech with 1,648 jobs (7.8%), Tanger with 1,439 jobs (6.8%) and Agadir with 861 jobs (4.1%).
Specialisations differ by region. In Casablanca, the top three sectors are commerce and distribution (12.8%), IT and digital services (10.1%) and banking, insurance and finance (9.9%). In Rabat, IT and digital services come first (17.7%). In Marrakech, hospitality, catering and tourism dominates with 30.8% of jobs. In Tanger, the automotive industry accounts for 16.9% of jobs, ahead of commerce and distribution (13.6%) and transport and logistics (13.6%).
The profile sought
Degree: among jobs where our technology identified the required level (28.7% of this edition), Bac+2 is the most requested (41.0%), ahead of Bac+4/5 (21.6%), Bac+3 (19.2%) and Bac (15.3%). Doctorates account for only 1.3%.
Experience: jobs open to beginners account for 6.6% of the total. The median minimum experience required is 3 years.
Languages: French is mentioned in 10.6% of jobs, English in 9.3%, Arabic in 1.3%. Languages such as Spanish, German or Dutch remain marginal, below 1%.
Contracts: Permanent contracts (CDI) dominate with 60.5% of jobs, followed by temporary work (19.5%), internships (10.2%), fixed-term contracts (CDD, 4.6%) and public-sector recruitment (3.2%). Remote work is indicated in 1.9% of jobs.
The salaries listed
Only 9.2% of jobs state a salary, i.e. 1,938 listings. On this sample, the median salary is 5,000 DH.
The median varies by sector: 10,000 DH in IT and digital services, 7,000 DH in construction and real estate, 7,000 DH in health and pharmacy, 5,500 DH in consulting, audit and business services, 5,000 DH in banking, insurance and finance, 4,000 DH in transport and logistics and 3,500 DH in commerce and distribution.
A few positions stand out with usable sample sizes: portfolio officer (median salary of 5,000 DH, 114 jobs), contact centre advisor (5,000 DH, 84 jobs), accountant (6,500 DH, 35 jobs) and production operator (3,700 DH, 33 jobs).
What these figures do not say
This barometer is based on the active job listings in our catalogue. It does not cover the entire job market in Morocco: offline recruitment, speculative applications and positions filled through referrals are outside this survey.
This is a snapshot as of 6 October 2026, the first reading of the barometer, and not a trend over time. Moreover, the share of salaries indicated is low: only 9.2% of jobs mention pay. The median salary therefore describes only a minority of postings.
