Software Development Lead

A Software Development Lead is a senior technical leader who leverages visual modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow to architect and implement complex Smart Cockpit features. They drive the end to end model based development lifecycle—defining architecture, authoring models, validating behavior through simulation, and using auto code generation tools (Embedded Coder, TargetLink) to produce production quality C/C++ for embedded targets. The role champions process automation and tooling improvements, enforces engineering best practices and quality gates, mentor’s engineers, and coordinates cross functional delivery to meet milestones. A goal oriented, initiative-taking mindset and strong ownership are required to keep projects on schedule and ensure robust, production ready outcomes. ADAS / Infotainment / Connectivity systems experience ADAS component development (Vision 360°, Ultrasonic, Radar, Camera, DMS, LiDAR) Analyze dimensional variation Automotive electronic architecture and networking Automotive product development experience CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity) Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis Conduct quality root cause analysis Conduct vehicle testing and data analysis Design and develop embedded software Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet networks Vector tools: CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape Software development experience (C, C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink) HMI and infotainment validation Infotainment, Cluster and Connected Services integration
