Backend developer (java)

Missions • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for banking applications • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver robust solutions • Optimize application performance and scalability • Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with banking security standards Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in backend development using Java • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) • Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Bonus Points If You Have • Experience in the banking or financial services sector • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Exposure to Kafka or other messaging systems • Familiarity with security protocols and data protection regulations • Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools
