About the role We're hiring a Communications, Social Media & Executive Assistant Intern, a right hand to our leadership and a voice for DeepLeaf. You'll manage our social presence, help tell our story clearly, and keep the day-to-day of a fast-moving company organized. It's a broad, high-trust role for someone exceptionally organized, a superb communicator in English, and quick to learn.
What you'll do
• Social media & communications: plan, write, and schedule content across our channels; keep a consistent, sharp brand voice; draft posts, newsletters, decks, and announcements
• Executive assistance: support leadership with scheduling, inbox and follow-up management, meeting prep and notes, travel and logistics, and keeping priorities on track
• Coordination: keep people, partners, and tasks moving, with tidy records, clear follow-ups, and nothing dropped
• Represent DeepLeaf: help prepare for and support meetings, events, and trips, sometimes on the road
Who we're looking for
• Exceptional English: you write and speak clearly, warmly, and persuasively. This is essential.
• A fast learner: you pick up new tools, topics, and context quickly and independently
• Highly organized and proactive: you anticipate needs, keep things tidy, and follow through without being chased
• Comfortable with social media and content tools, and confident representing a brand publicly
• Able and willing to travel: you can travel abroad freely and are ready to move around as the role requires. Where a trip needs it, DeepLeaf supports travel costs, and visa support is available through our partners where possible
• Bonus: design sense (Canva/Figma), video/editing, or a second language (French, Arabic/Darija, or others)
Eligibility Aimed at students and recent graduates. You should be currently enrolled in a university programme (bachelor's or graduate), in your final undergraduate year, or a recent graduate (within about a year).
Languages
• English, required, at a high level
• Arabic/Darija, or other languages are a strong plus
Location & logistics
• Full-time internship, 6-9 months, in person at the DeepLeaf office in Sidi Bennour, Morocco
• You're expected to relocate to Sidi Bennour for the internship, and to be ready to travel and move around when needed. Living costs in Sidi Bennour are low
• Paid internship: a monthly stipend of around €400, all-inclusive, intended to cover your stay (accommodation) and local travel. Work travel costs are supported by DeepLeaf, with visa support through partners where possible
