**The area of responsibility includes in particular:**
Management of the unit
Complex conceptual work in traffic planning, such as the development and updating of traffic concepts, traffic planning studies, traffic surveys and analyses as well as conceptual planning of traffic facilities
Traffic planning and expert work, such as for projects of urban land-use planning and urban development as well as for city-wide statements on road and railway planning by other project owners
Traffic planning design services of service phases 1/2 HOAI with the involvement of third parties
**Technical and personal requirements, among others:**
Completed technical/engineering university degree (at least Dipl.Ing/Bachelor) in a course of study conducive to the activity, preferably in the field of traffic planning, traffic engineering or civil engineering, required
Several years of professional experience of at least three years required
Several years of management experience of at least two years desired; if there is no several years of management experience, the position can be filled on a probationary basis (the probationary period is 2 years)
Confident command of the German language in speech and writing, at least C2 level
Driving licence class B desirable
Very good PC skills desirable
Moderation and project management skills

The technical suitability (qualification) is determined by the training or examination requirements for the position to be filled and the tasks to be performed. These requirements are specified by the qualification profile announced in the job advertisement.
This full-time position is classified in pay group 12, case group 1, TVöD (VKA), engineers.
The monthly gross remuneration in this pay group varies depending on relevant professional experience and length of experience between €4,415.70 in level 1 and €6,900.18 in final level 6.
Recognition of relevant professional experience in accordance with Section 16 (2) TVöD is only possible if corresponding evidence is submitted.
The pay group comprises six levels. The level assignment results from Section 16 (2) TVöD. In this context, it is pointed out that recognition of relevant professional experience is only possible if corresponding evidence is submitted.
