The Stadttheater Bremerhaven is a multi-genre theatre with music theatre including opera, operetta, musical, ballet, drama and children's and youth theatre, with strong roots in the city's society.
The area of responsibility essentially includes:
• Making, altering and modifying men's costumes according to the instructions of the men's costume department
• Preparing costume pieces for fittings
• Maintaining individual theatre costumes
• Carrying out minor repairs
• Washing and ironing clothing
During occasional evening duties as a dresser, you ensure that the artists can appear dressed on time and properly, or can change during the ongoing performance. You are responsible for ensuring that the costumes are ready, complete with all accessories and clean.
Requirements:
Completed training as a bespoke tailor with a focus on men's tailoring or experience in tailoring, ability to work in a team, a high degree of flexibility and resilience, artistic sensitivity. Theatre experience is an advantage.
