**The area of responsibility includes in particular:**
Organisation and implementation of IT measures in the individually assigned area (departments, offices, units). This includes:
o Support during the introduction of new hardware and software solutions as well as the realisation of IT deployment (coordination between company and user)
o Regular review of the computer technology and software used in the specialist offices for use and utilisation as well as optimisation of the use of hardware and software
o Error and problem analysis at the user's site and independent decision on problem solving (software hotline, emergency service, resolvable with own resources)
o Participation in the planning and realisation of cross-office data exchange beyond the defined office support (creation of interfaces) as well as networking concepts beyond the assigned area
o Development of solutions and custom programming for the more effective use of existing software as a result of analyses and consultations in the specialist office
Organisation and implementation of IT projects in the individually assigned area (departments, offices, units). This includes:
o Analysis: market analysis and preparation of a selection of suitable proposals for project implementation taking into account specific requirements for existing organisational and IT framework conditions as well as legal requirements
o Evaluation: review of the selection with regard to programme integration into organisational processes and economic efficiency
o Planning/conception: sustainable planning of task implementation taking into account existing software and hardware
o Further development: continuous further development, adaptation and supplementation of existing IT solutions
Tasks within the IT department:
o Participation in the preparation of an overall IT framework concept and in
the planning of IT systems taking into account the individual needs
of the relevant area
o Support in concept development, implementation and assurance of
central archiving and data backup including user instruction
o Preparation of work instructions to ensure the processes of the computer centre
(or IT department) and for fault prevention in process flows

Technical and personal requirements, among others:
completed degree (Bachelor's or Diplom (FH)) in computer science,
business informatics or a comparable field of computer science with ideally
at least two years of professional experience
or
completed degree in electrical engineering (Bachelor's/Diplom (FH)) with a focus on
information technology and at least three years of practical experience in the IT sector
or
completed three-year vocational training as an IT specialist with at least
six years of relevant professional experience in the IT sector required,
or
completed three-year training as an IT systems electronics technician with at least
six years of relevant professional experience in the IT sector required
The following is also required:
o practical experience in dealing with IT projects (conception, realisation and
evaluation)
o good knowledge of standard IT software as well as digital skills
o practical experience in carrying out IT user support
o innovative thinking for the development of new projects and for solving complex
problems
o knowledge of the various eGovernment topic areas
Driving licence class B desirable
Soft skills: organisational and communication skills, customer orientation,
commitment/own initiative as well as ability and willingness to learn
This full-time position is classified in pay group 10/case group 2 TVöD (VKA), employees in information and communication technology.
The monthly gross salary in this pay group varies depending on relevant professional experience and length of experience between €4,124.53 in level 1 and €5,753.35 in final level 6.
Recognition of relevant professional experience in accordance with Section 16 (2) TVöD is only possible if corresponding evidence is submitted.
In the event of employment, a certificate of good conduct for submission to an authority pursuant to Section 30 BZRG must be provided without fail.
