Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer

Tasks: Carrying out structural calculations for building construction, civil engineering, industrial and infrastructure structures with a focus on concrete construction Creation of structural models as well as FEM-supported internal force calculations Design of components with fibre-reinforced composite reinforcements according to applicable regulations, standards and specialist literature Development and elaboration of reinforcement concepts based on modern, robotic and automated reinforcement technologies Participation in research and development projects on innovative, basalt-reinforced concrete components Technical representation of the company towards project partners, research institutions and external stakeholders Participation in committees, working groups and cooperation with technical universities Taking on internal project management tasks and actively contributing to the development of technical standards Your profile: Completed degree in civil engineering, ideally from a technical university or university of applied sciences, or comparable training with a focus on structural analysis or structural design Several years of professional experience as a structural engineer, structural designer or calculation engineer within the EU Very good knowledge of European standards and regulations in concrete construction Solid experience with structural analysis and calculation programs as well as FE analysis programs, for example ANSYS, Abaqus, RFEM, SOFiSTiK or comparable tools Programming skills are an advantage, especially in connection with automated calculation or modelling processes Experience in project management as well as in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Structured, precise and independent way of working Enjoyment of innovation, research and the development of new technical solutions Team spirit, strong communication skills and willingness to take on responsibility Local flexibility for the place of work Leoben or Vienna The offer: Work on forward-looking solutions for sustainable, corrosion-resistant and resource-efficient concrete construction Close cooperation with research partners, universities and technical experts Scope for shaping the development of new products, processes and calculation methods Perspective for further development into a management role Attractive gross annual salary from EUR 80,000 if the requirements are met, with willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience Why this position is exciting: In this role, you combine classic structural analysis and structural design with highly innovative materials, digital calculation methods and automated manufacturing technologies.
