Your tasks - exciting and varied:
On the routes of the large ÖBB rail network, you drive locomotives with up to 10,000 hp and state-of-the-art multiple units.
Passenger trains at a speed of 230 km/h and freight trains weighing up to 3,000 tonnes are brought responsibly and punctually to their destination by you.
You carry out the necessary operational and safety-related activities.
Depending on your existing qualification, you will receive individually tailored further training as well as ongoing technical and operational training.

What we offer you - a convincing package:
A one-off bonus of € 5,000 gross (valid only for applicants who have not worked within the ÖBB Group in the last 12 months) after at least 6 months of operational service and passing the examination to obtain an additional certificate from ÖBB-Produktion GmbH for all classes A and B on the ÖBB network.
For the function of "Universaltriebfahrzeugführer:in" (universal traction vehicle driver), a minimum salary of € 45,822.42 gross/year is envisaged, with remuneration above the collective agreement of at least € 47,865.16 gross/year.
The normal weekly working time is 38.5 hours, overtime worked is paid out.
Duty rosters are created for you at an early stage and enable plannable duty scheduling.
Your shift begins and ends at your place of taking up duty.
At the service locations, social rooms are available for rest during breaks as well as overnight rooms for rest periods required for duty.
You receive performance-oriented additional payments averaging € 600 gross/month excluding overtime.
Night working hours are valued more highly with a surcharge of 25% per hour.
