Areas of responsibility
In this responsible role, you will take on the central role in ensuring and further developing occupational safety and health protection standards. Conducting safety inspections, audits, risk analyses and safety-related technical reviews
Creation, updating and management of safety-relevant documentation, instructions and reports
Organization and delivery of training sessions and awareness-raising measures for employees* and managers
Advice on the selection and procurement of technical work equipment as well as on safety issues in operational business
Close cooperation with management, managers, safety specialists, occupational medicine as well as external authorities and institutions
Active contribution to a sustainable safety culture within the company
Assumption of additional responsibilities in fire protection and employee* protection after appropriate onboarding
Qualification profile
Completed technical education with a focus on mechanical engineering (HTL, FH, university or comparable)
Several years of professional experience in the area of occupational safety, safety management or HSE in an industrial environment
Sound knowledge of the relevant legal requirements in employee* protection
Experience with management systems and standards such as ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 an advantage
Training as a safety specialist in accordance with ASchG desirable
Technical understanding as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication skills, persuasiveness and assertiveness
Personal initiative, sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality
Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English an advantage

Aufgabenbereiche
In dieser verantwortungsvollen Funktion übernehmen Sie die zentrale Rolle bei der Sicherstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Arbeitssicherheits- und Gesundheitsschutzstandards. Darüber hinaus übernehmen Sie nach entsprechender Einarbeitung die Funktion als verantwortlicher Beauftragter gemäß § 9 VStG iVm § 23 ArbIG und tragen damit maßgeblich zur rechtskonformen und nachhaltigen Sicherheitsorganisation des Unternehmens bei. Zu Ihren Schwerpunkten zählen:
Laufende Ermittlung, Bewertung und Reduktion potenzieller Gefahrenquellen in Produktions- und Arbeitsbereichen sowie konsequente Veranlassung und Nachverfolgung der Behebung festgestellter Mängel
Planung, Umsetzung sowie kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung von Prozessen, Standards und Maßnahmen im Bereich Arbeitssicherheit und Gesundheitsschutz
Durchführung von Sicherheitsbegehungen, Audits, Risikoanalysen und sicherheitstechnischen Überprüfungen
Erstellung, Aktualisierung und Verwaltung sicherheitsrelevanter Dokumentationen, Unterweisungen und Reports
Organisation und Durchführung von Schulungen sowie Sensibilisierungsmaßnahmen für Mitarbeiter*innen und Führungskräfte
Beratung bei der Auswahl und Beschaffung technischer Arbeitsmittel sowie bei Sicherheitsfragen im operativen Betrieb
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Geschäftsführung, Führungskräften, Sicherheitsfachkräften, Arbeitsmedizin sowie externen Behörden und Institutionen
Aktive Mitgestaltung einer nachhaltigen Sicherheitskultur im Unternehmen

Qualifikationsprofil
Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung mit Schwerpunkt Maschinenbau (HTL, FH, Universität oder vergleichbar)
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Arbeitssicherheit, Sicherheitsmanagement oder HSE in einem industriellen Umfeld
Fundierte Kenntnisse der relevanten gesetzlichen Vorgaben im Arbeitnehmer*innenschutz
Erfahrung mit Managementsystemen und Normen wie ISO 45001 und/oder ISO 14001 von Vorteil
