Inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in bridges, underpasses, tunnels, platform roofs and special steel structures in the track infrastructure (including corrosion protection, clearing of vegetation). This also includes the handling of collision damage.
Planning and execution of construction sites as well as construction supervision for maintenance projects
You instruct workers technically and help out. You ensure strict compliance with all guidelines and instructions. If necessary, you take care of securing tasks.
Assessment of the need for materials and equipment and keeping records for test reports, construction reports and performance records.
Quality control of work and maintenance of databases.
Your profile
Completed apprenticeship
as a metal technician, bricklayer, mechanical engineering technician, locksmith, sheet metal worker, roofer, in civil engineering, building construction, carpentry
or
you have a
positive completion of a technical college
in building technology/mechanical engineering/mechatronics.
You also have an independent way of working.
Time
flexibility and availability to perform on-call duty or night work round off your profile.
You also have very good German language skills and a
valid class B driving licence
(for all passenger cars)
In addition, you would like to climb the career ladder and acquire a railway-specific master craftsman qualification.
