Your job, your chance
As a skilled worker, you carry out the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of superstructure and substructure facilities, including tracks, sleepers, ballast, drainage systems and tunnels.
In addition, you participate in major construction sites such as station conversions, accompany track construction machines and support the monitoring of forest areas, clearing, snow removal and the protection of railway facilities against natural hazards such as rockfall or storm damage.
Furthermore, you drive and operate the traction and other vehicles required for construction. The necessary training as a train driver takes place within the employment relationship.
You instruct employees technically and ensure compliance with all guidelines and take on securing tasks if necessary. In addition, you assess material and equipment requirements, keep test protocols, construction reports and performance records.

Your profile
A completed apprenticeship or technical school in the manual or technical field forms the basis for this position.
