Tulln area | Operational dispatch | Development towards your own area of responsibility
For an established Austrian transport company, we are looking for a transport dispatcher (m/f/d) with completed forwarding training and initial relevant professional experience to strengthen the existing dispatch team.
You will initially work closely with an experienced senior dispatcher and gradually take on your own area of responsibility.
Important:

Your area of responsibility
Gradual takeover of the dispatch of part of a fleet of around 30 tank and silo vehicles
Planning and optimisation of tours taking into account drivers, vehicles, loads as well as cleaning and service cycles
Ongoing coordination with drivers, customers, warehouse staff, freight forwarders and partner companies
GPS tracking and telematics monitoring of tours
Support in the coordination of subcontractors and freight forwarders
Contribution to compliance with environmental, quality and safety requirements
Gradual takeover of your own area of responsibility in collaboration with the senior dispatcher
Your profile
Completed training in a forwarding company, in particular as a forwarding clerk or forwarding logistician or directly comparable relevant training
Initial professional experience in operational transport or truck dispatch, ideally 1–3 years after completing training
Understanding of road freight transport, tour planning as well as driver and vehicle dispatch
German language skills at least at C1 level
Good IT skills and affinity for digital dispatch, tracking and telematics systems
Structured, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
Strong communication skills, flexibility and hands-on mentality
Experience with tank, silo, liquid or hazardous goods transports is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Location and way of working
We are looking for employees for whom regular presence at the company location in the Tulln area is easily feasible. Due to the close collaboration with dispatch, drivers and the vehicle fleet, the activity is carried out exclusively on site. The exact location will be announced during the further application process.
The position is particularly suitable for candidates who want to take the next development step after their forwarding training and initial professional experience and who wish to develop into an independently responsible transport dispatcher under the guidance of an experienced senior dispatcher.
Our offer
Thorough induction by an experienced senior dispatcher
Clear development perspective towards your own dispatch and responsibility area
Intensive onboarding and regular training
Modern work equipment and digital dispatch and telematics systems
