Your tasks – exciting and varied:
In 52 varied weeks, a thorough training specifically prepares you for your future work as a traction vehicle driver.
During the training, valuable driving practice is gained – both in the ultra-modern ÖBB simulator and directly on the rails.
The training imparts to you all the theoretical, practical and safety-relevant knowledge required for the profession.
Successfully passing the final examination leads to the acquisition of the traction vehicle driving licences of classes A and B.
After successfully completing the training, you bring passengers and goods safely, punctually and reliably to their destination.
What you bring – our expectations:
You have completed a (vocational) training, and you reach the minimum age of 19 at the start of the course.
You have already completed military or civilian service, or you are exempt from it.
Very good knowledge of German in speech and writing enables safe, friendly and professional communication with passengers and colleagues.
Physical fitness as well as good vision and hearing are required.
Varying working hours in shift work (including night, weekend and public holiday service) can be well reconciled with your own everyday life and environment.

For the function "universal traction vehicle driver – junior talent", a minimum salary of € 38,351.88 gross/year is envisaged. After completed training and when exercising the function of "universal traction vehicle driver", the salary amounts to at least € 45,822.42 gross/year, with remuneration above the collective agreement of at least € 47,865.16 gross/year.
In addition, performance-oriented supplementary payments are offered (on average € 500 gross per month, excl. overtime).
