Your job
In this role, you work in the project team (project coordination for all activities relating to the planning and execution of rail infrastructure projects, including schedules, costs, quality) – your tasks include:
During the planning and construction phase, as part of the project management team, you take on project management tasks and coordinate the activities of the project team with regard to planning activities and during construction execution.
You contribute to the coordination of construction sequences and project schedules and support coordination between internal specialist departments, executing companies, authorities and other project partners.
Together with your colleagues, you represent the interests of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG vis-à-vis service providers, authorities, municipalities and local residents and take on tasks in award procedures for services or construction works.
As part of planning management, you contribute to the creation of project-related scheduling, review submission, tender and execution documents, support award procedures and assist in the creation of schedule and cost plans.
In addition, you coordinate project-related services and support the coordination of requirements from operations, safety and infrastructure during project execution.
Together with the project team, you ensure professional project management in demanding railway infrastructure projects and contribute to the overall result of the projects.
The Project Management Vorarlberg team implements numerous construction projects throughout Vorarlberg – as part of this position, you will primarily look after conversions and new builds with a railway operational context.
Your profile
You hold a university of applied sciences or university degree in the fields of construction engineering/civil engineering (or related areas) and have several years of practical experience in civil engineering or infrastructure construction.
Knowledge of project management and MS Office is required – and you also bring great enthusiasm for the railway sector.
As a team player, you gladly take on responsibility and value collaboration with a wide range of contacts.
With your open, communicative personality, you enjoy familiarizing yourself with new subject areas and have not yet reached the end of your learning and development process.
In addition to the technical challenge in infrastructure construction, you are also interested in business management and legal topics.
Your flexibility enables you to adapt to the changing requirements of the project, and you hold a category B driving licence for business trips in the project area.
Our offer
For this role (employee project management specialist), a minimum salary of € 55,307.00 gross/year (38.5 h without all-in) is envisaged. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, an overpayment is possible.
