State Communication has a clear goal: to inform the people of Vorarlberg as well as employees of the state administration transparently and comprehensibly about the goals, tasks and actions of the State of Vorarlberg. The team of 22 dedicated employees manages the diverse communication channels of the state government and the state administration and ensures that information is conveyed quickly, understandably and reliably.
Tasks – this is how you make a valuable contribution:
- Designing and producing videos: You develop creative video formats for the homepage, social media and other communication channels – from content conception and visual dramaturgy through recording to professional editing.
- Realising live broadcasts and archiving recordings: You plan and implement live web broadcasts of press conferences, state parliament sessions and other events. In addition, you take charge of the recording, duplication, archiving and documentation of state parliament sessions.
- Supporting event technology and providing infrastructure: You organise and support sound and video technology at selected events of the state parliament and the state government and ensure a high-performance sound and video infrastructure that is ready for use at all times.
- Coordinating photographic services: You coordinate external photographers, manage photo services and ensure high-quality visual documentation.
- Driving further development: You monitor current trends and developments in communication and media technology, contribute new impulses and keep your expertise continuously up to date through targeted training and further education.
Requirements
Requirements – this is what you should usefully bring:
- Trained: You have completed training at an HTL with a focus on media technology, electrical engineering or a completed apprenticeship in the field of sound and video technology or event technology with several years of relevant professional experience.
- Technical competence and experience: You have in-depth knowledge of sound and video technology as well as in the operation of audio and video editing. You bring experience in video production, live broadcasts as well as in the sound and video technical support of events. A basic understanding of lighting technology is present.
- Organisational skills: You work in a structured and efficient manner, especially in the management of technology, budgeting and the coordination of external service providers.
- Flexibility: You are willing to work on weekends or public holidays if required. If required for operational reasons, you also flexibly contribute to other areas of responsibility.
- Communication skills and digital competence: You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly and in a solution-oriented manner and are resilient even in stressful phases. Digital competence and confident handling of common applications are required.

Salary:
In this position, based on the State Employees Act 2000, you will earn between € 4,200.27 and € 6,021.26 gross per month depending on training and professional experience.
