On behalf of a client in the energy management and metallurgy sector, we are seeking an Assistant Accountant. Contract type: Temporary interim Location: Kénitra Salary: 8000 MAD NET Key Responsibilities :General Accounting Suppor tAssist in daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping and data entry .Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system (Sage 100) .Tax & Complianc eSupport the preparation and filing of tax declarations .Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations .Payroll & Social Declaration sAssist in the preparation of payroll-related entries and social security declarations .Ensure accuracy and timely submission of related documentation .Financial Reportin gSupport the preparation of financial statements and accounting reports .Assist in monthly and annual closing processes .Reconciliation & Control sPerform account reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies .Support internal audit and control processes when required .Skills :Accounting Knowledg eSolid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures .Knowledge of tax declarations and compliance requirements .Technical Proficienc yExperience with Sage 100 Accounting software is required .Good command of Microsoft Excel and Office Suite .Organizational Skill sHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines .Ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and efficient way .Interpersonal Skill sGood communication skills and ability to work within a team .Professional attitude and sense of responsibility .Experience :2 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles .Experience in payroll, tax declarations, or general ledger accounting is an advantage .Education :Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
