The Hydrology department is a nationwide organizational unit of the WSA Upper Rhine. The department handles the three areas of responsibility "Water level forecasting",
"Hydrological analyses" and "Management of hydrological IT procedures".
With your work, you support the area of responsibility "Management of hydrological IT procedures" on site. You are responsible for matters of hydrology and water management on all federal waterways.
The area of responsibility essentially comprises the following points:
- Coordinating and carrying out the management of hydrological specialist applications such as WISKI 7, VisiLink, PEGELONLINE and WSP-Fix
- Participation in the conception and further development of hydrological software
- Advice and assistance for users of the hydrological software
- Setting up, configuring, checking and monitoring data paths from gauging stations to the IT structures of ITZBund

- Support of the area of responsibility "Hydrological analyses" in checking and establishing discharge curves and other hydrological evaluations
