"CEO" of ÖBB-Holding AG is being advertised.

passengers as well as around 79 million tonnes of goods on a rail network of around 5,000 kilometres

The uniform strategic alignment of the
ÖBB sub-groups is the responsibility of ÖBB-Holding
AG pursuant to § 4 of the Federal Railways Act idgF.
The Management Board position being
advertised represents the ÖBB Group internally and externally as Chair of the Management Board and coordinates and steers the medium- and long-term strategic alignment of the ÖBB Group and works towards its implementation in all companies within the Group environment.
We are looking for a convincing leadership personality with several years
of experience in a mobility company. High economic competence, pronounced entrepreneurial thinking as well as demonstrable knowledge in the management of complex units with clear cost discipline are required. Experience in a nationally and European highly regulated area, international expertise as well as knowledge of the essential legal frameworks on sustainability topics are an advantage.
With
the aim of the continuous further development of the ÖBB Group and its positioning as a competitive mobility service provider in the national and European market environment as well as an active contribution of the company to climate protection, individuals are sought who have already developed concrete strategies and programmes for sustainable mobility/transport and efficiency increases and have demonstrably generated strategies for market growth.
In addition
to a solid university-level education, you convince through holistic, entrepreneurial thinking, a results- and implementation-oriented approach, value-oriented leadership competence, innovation orientation as well as a convincing sustainability orientation. Furthermore, we require competencies for the implementation of diversity and equality as well as high social, intercultural and communicative competence.
