You develop technical solutions for maintenance processes in the area of tension between cost, quality and safety with regard to maintenance and technical optimisation of locomotives and their systems, considering the overall system of rail vehicle/train/infrastructure.
You take on technical co-responsibility for technical further developments of subsystems in rail vehicles and ensure structured maintenance specification documentation.
You provide technical input for the further development of technologies and are the specialist contact person for day-to-day topics.
You support technical and strategic projects with your expertise and drive the further development of technical processes, e.g. by creating maintenance instructions and technical guidelines.
You ensure the smooth running of operational data collection by defining software versions, data streams and evaluations.
You carry out technical analyses in subsystems of rail vehicles, identify optimisation potential and derive improvement measures from them. This also includes damage research and weak point analysis for rapid fault diagnosis in the maintenance depots of ÖBB-Technische Services-GmbH.
Your profile...
You have completed technical training at a technical university/university of applied sciences with a focus on electronics/telecommunications/electrical engineering/mechatronics or you have a technically comparable HTL qualification with several years of industry-specific professional experience.
Ideally, you know maintenance strategies and have industry-specific knowledge in the railway sector, particularly in the traction vehicle sector.
You are interested in working with existing legacy systems, linking them with modern data processing solutions and actively helping to shape the introduction of condition-based maintenance strategies.
You have very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
You enjoy working with colleagues and stand out through strong communication skills with various target groups.
You like working independently and always proceed in a structured manner.
You are self-confident and can deal well with rapidly changing situations.
You value continuous further training and a high level of customer orientation is a matter of course for you.

For the function "Specialist Vehicle Technology-Rail", according to the collective agreement for employees of Austrian railway companies, a minimum salary of € 55,307.00 gross/year for 38.5 hours per week is provided.
