with the provisions of the Staffing Act, BGBI. I No. 26/1998 as amended, the Management Board position
"COO" of ÖBB-Holding AG is being advertised.

mobility company. Every year we move over 500 million
passengers as well as around 79 million tonnes of goods on a rail network of around 5,000 kilometres

The
uniform strategic orientation of the ÖBB sub-groups is the responsibility of
ÖBB-Holding AG pursuant to § 4 of the Federal Railways Act as amended.
The Management Board position being
advertised represents ÖBB-Holding AG in
internal and external relations as Chief Operating Officer and coordinates and
steers, within the framework of the group management function, the rail production process in the ÖBB Group.
Furthermore, the COO function assumes departmental responsibility for the group divisions Systems Engineering
& Group Production as well as Strategic Group IT Management at
ÖBB-Holding AG.
We are looking for a convincing leadership personality with pronounced
group experience who, in addition to a
long-standing top management function, possesses demonstrable knowledge and experience
in comparable governance functions in the
railway environment. In-depth leadership experience from the
mobility sector and in the infrastructure area is required, as is knowledge of
national and European legal norms in the railway sector as well as knowledge of the essential legal
framework conditions on sustainability topics and the associated
entrepreneurial responsibilities.
In-depth experience in the strategic
steering of IT/OT organisations in large, complex group structures is expected,
particularly in IT governance, digitalisation, information security (NIS-2, KREG)
as well as data and architecture management.
In addition
to in-depth education at university level, you will convince through
holistic, entrepreneurial thinking, a results- and implementation-oriented
approach, value-oriented leadership competence, innovation orientation
as well as a convincing sustainability orientation. Furthermore, we require competencies
for the implementation of diversity and equality as well as high social,
intercultural and communicative competence.
